Case Study- Why GIF Booths are Great For Generating Brand Awareness

Ricki Berger, the CEO of The Buzz Bug, called us last minute, needing a GIF booth that would fit a small space and would enable her to generate brand awareness at the Teen Choice Awards. Luckily, our booth’s dimensions and design fit the bill, and we were able offer her the perfect solution.

We created a custom overlay with her logos for the GIF, customized HTML emails that would enable easy social media sharing of the GIFs for her booth visitors, as well as a vinyl wrap for the booth.

In the end, quite a few celebrities stopped by her booth to learn about her business, and several shared their GIFs on their Instagram accounts, some of which have MILLIONS of followers. Here are just a few results:

  • Chloe Lukasiak shared her GIF on her Instagram account, resulting over 140,000 likes, and over 4,000 comments! She has over 2 million followers, by the way.
  • Janel Parrish shared her GIF on her Instagram account, resulting in over 78,000 likes, and 132 comments. She has 2.4 million followers.

Each person that saw their Instagram posts was exposed to the branded overlays, and thebuzzbug.com’s web traffic saw an up surge.

Bottom line: branded content + celebrities and influencers sharing = a TON of impressions.
